Planning Permission & How Much You Can Borrow

What, if any, planning permission do you have?

Without planning permission, the maximum mortgage available will be limited to 50% of the value of the land and the land will need a minimum value of £100,000. The interest rate will also be a commercial land interest rate, meaning an interest rate of approximately 5% more than a typical residential mortgage, a significant cost. You will need at least outline planning permission for a Self-Build mortgage but there may be other mortgage options available to you. See below.
